Laoxa’s Creative Ground: a vibrant creative hub with rug tufting workshops, hands-on crafts & community pop-ups hosted by Laoxa Ltd. Where creativity, craft, and community come together - Laoxa’s Creative Ground is your space for hands-on workshops, unique vendor pop-ups, and family-friendly creativity , hosted and run by Laoxa Ltd , a purpose-driven food and arts brand. We’ll now be at CRATE St James Street by bookings only for our Rug Tufting Workshops, pop-up markets and Paint-Your-Own Clay Crafts on selective dates. Please note: 🧶 Thursdays are now reserved for pre-booked Rug Tufting Workshops only (no vendor stalls). 🛍️ We’ll be hosting a trial Community Pop-Up Market on a Friday , bringing together local vendors, crafts, and sweet treats. Stay tuned on our Instagram and Eventbrite page for confirmed dates and updates. 👀✨ Location: CRATE, 35 St James Street, Walthamstow, London, E17 7FY When: Rug tufting workshops on selective Thursday dates – announced once bookings are confirmed Event Time: 12:00pm - 4:30pm (may vary by session) What to Expect (on selective dates): Rug Tufting Workshops - £150 per person (booking required) Paint-Your-Own Clay Station – from £10 (selective dates) Decorate our handmade clay designs with paints. Drop-in, pay in person on available dates. Creative Pop-Ups & Vendor Stalls (selected Fridays) We’re planning a Community Pop-Up Market to bring together local makers, artists, and food vendors. Expect handmade goods, art, skincare, jewellery, wellness products, desserts, and creative services - each date will feature something new. Family-friendly • All are welcome • Free entry Rug Tufting Workshop - £150 Design and tuft your very own mini rug (40cm x 40cm) using a professional cut-pile tufting gun. Perfect for beginners - we'll guide you through every step. Your 4-hour workshop includes: Introduction & demo of the tufting process Guided use of the tufting gun to create your piece Finishing touches: trimming, glue backing & shaving You’ll leave with your very own finished custom rug - ready to display! Only 2 spaces per session – book early to secure your spot. After booking, we’ll send artwork guidelines - your design must be submitted 48 hours before your session. Arrive by 11:45AM to get settled in - workshop starts promptly at 12:00PM Workshops finish around 4:00PM. Need extra time? or want us to finish the rug and post to a delivery address. Additional charges may apply. Paint Your Own Clay Station - from £10 (Selective Dates) Available on selected dates - we’ll announce upcoming sessions on our Instagram and Eventbrite page. Drop by between 12:00PM - 4:00PM and paint one of our handmade clay pieces. Choose from what we’ve crafted that week - from trays and pots to small character designs and coasters - all cured on-site to take home the same day. Prices start from £10 , paid in person. No booking required when the station is open. No experience needed - just come and create! Vendor Stalls On certain dates, enjoy a rotating lineup of creatives and small businesses - from handmade jewellery and art to skincare, clothing, desserts, and family-friendly activities. Expect cakes/sweet treats, handmade products, custom art, and more - it’s different every time, so come see what’s new. Booking & Cancellation Policy: Refund Policy: All sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled, not fully performed, or significantly differs from the advertised description. In such cases, please email info@laoxaltd.com within 5 business days of the event date to request a refund.
