Use of our training vehicle which has a 20t per meter, rear mounted Palfinger crane. (MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO BE ABLE TO DO A REFRESHER COURSE , PLEASE NOTE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE AND BOOK THIS COURSE WE CANNOT NOT ISSUE A REFUND) The Operator course consists of 15 modules. Course Introduction Legislation Introduction to Loader Crane Pre-operational checks Maintenance Instruction Lifting Equipment/ Attachments Siting the Loader Crane Deployment of Stabiliser Legs Use of Controls Preparing Loader Crane for Use Operating Loader Crane Stowing Procedure Preparation for Assessment / Revision Theory & Practical Assessment Final Administration & Candidate Feedback PLEASE NOTE For all one-day ALLMI Lorry Loader Operator courses delivered from 1st March 2024 onwards, as well as having over 15 hours’ experience in the last 12 months, it will be a requirement for the candidate to provide evidence of previous accredited training (in-house training will not be accepted). In addition to ALLMI, accrediting bodies accepted for this purpose are: AITT; CPCS; ITSSAR; Lantra; NPORS; RTITB. Other accrediting bodies / certificate types may be accepted but will need to be approved by ALLMI in advance of the ALLMI course being undertaken. Please do contact us if you have any queries in this regard. The ID card / certification associated with this previous training must not have expired more than six months prior to the date of the ALLMI course being undertaken (this applies equally to previously held ALLMI qualifications, not just those from other accrediting bodies). Once the booking has been completed, QDL will email over a 'Previous Experience Form' which whill need completing and returned prior to the course start date.
