Scrapbook, junk journal, and spend some creative time together in a relaxed paper craft workshop. Welcoming teens and adults! Junk Journaling Workshop with The Keepsake Club 🌟 Come and spend a calm, creative afternoon junk journaling at The Movie Shack in Bexleyheath , a welcoming space for hands on creativity! The Keepsake Club is a paper craft and journaling workshop designed for ages 11+, with adults very welcome to join. The session offers gentle guidance alongside plenty of freedom to create in your own way and at your own pace. This is a cosy, inclusive space where you can chat, trade materials, sit quietly, or focus on your own pages. You are free to take part in whichever way feels most comfortable. What to Expect You’ll start by browsing the shared craft table, choosing from patterned papers, stickers, and ephemera that catch your eye. Then take a seat and settle in as we begin the session! There will be a short paper craft demonstration introducing an interactive journaling technique, such as a pull strip or pop/fold out element. You can choose to use this technique or let it inspire your own pages. Prompt cards and examples will also be available on the table if you would like a starting point or a bit of inspiration. The focus is on process rather than finished results. You may create multiple pages, experiment with ideas, or simply enjoy the act of making! Materials All shared materials are provided, including background papers, stamps, scraps, washi tape, stickers, scissors, and glue. You are welcome to bring your own journal or notebook to create in. Journals will also be available to purchase on the day if you do not already have one, with simple options priced at £2 and £6. Feel free to also bring a selection of upcycled materials from home if you would like. This could include receipts, tickets, scrap paper, photographs, packaging, magazine pages or fabric scraps. Anything with texture, colour, or a bit of personal history works wonderfully for junk journaling! Who it’s for This session is suitable for ages 11+ and welcomes teens and adults. It’s designed for anyone who enjoys paper crafts, journaling, or scrapbooking, or who would like a calm, screen-free creative activity. Beginners are very welcome and no artistic skill is required. The session is relaxed and flexible, with space to work quietly, wear headphones, or chat with others, depending on what suits you.
